Apparently I am not a daily blogger. I'm not even a monthly blogger at this point. You'd think that because I travel so often I'd have plenty of downtime to write/blog; but sleep has turned out to be the preferred activity. Anyway.
In the last two months I have traveled non-stop to many boring places- Stamford, CT; Ossining, NY; Bentonville, AR, to name a few. However un-glamorous all of them are, I'm convinced that there's something incredible to be found in Bentonville and/or the surrounding areas. During my stay, I caught glimpses of possibilities but unfortunately didn't spend enough time there to discover anything. I'd love to know... and hope I get back there to find out.
So finally home in the NYC area, I've been making the rounds for business meetings and holiday events and indulging myself in NYC hotels, thrilled to be back in the land of lush amenities. It's the small things - Fresh bath products at 60 Thompson, a Massive Attack cd ready to be played on the in-room cd player at Soho Grand, or the incredible amazing spa at Mandarin Oriental that remind me it's good to be home.
