About Me

I began writing portablemind while traveling, to record my experiences and provide recommendations to friends and colleagues who often ask for my guidance. Through writing this blog I have discovered that I have more knowledge about local bars than is probably healthy, that I need to take more photographs, and that my blog is often discovered with the search term "travel style" - and, because I have mentioned New Jersey in several posts, "Bon Jovi". Go figure.

I'm often asked what my favorites places are, so: San Francisco, Moorea, and Spain.... but I have a lot more traveling ahead of me. To be continued.
